Toys are one of the most important factors in the development of your child. Every child develops differently at different stages in their lives. Choosing age-appropriate toys for your child ensures that the toy is not too complicated for him. It also ensures that your child will not be injured by the toy. Recommendations are made by toy manufacturers and these should be followed to prevent injury or loss of interest of your child.
Infants and toddlers use their senses of sight, taste, smell, and sound to learn. They find enjoyment from brightly colored toys that can be hugged or twisted. Never buy a toy that has smaller parts to prevent small children from choking.
Rattles, mobiles, and colorful objects that are unbreakable are great for newborns until the age of one. Infants 1-2 years get pleasure from push or pull toys, blocks, and books.
