Toys are one of the most important factors in the development of your child. Every child develops differently at different stages in their lives. Choosing age-appropriate toys for your child ensures that the toy is not too complicated for him. It also ensures that your child will not be injured by the toy. Recommendations are made by toy manufacturers and these should be followed to prevent injury or loss of interest of your child.

Infants and toddlers use their senses of sight, taste, smell, and sound to learn. They find enjoyment from brightly colored toys that can be hugged or twisted. Never buy a toy that has smaller parts to prevent small children from choking.

Rattles, mobiles, and colorful objects that are unbreakable are great for newborns until the age of one. Infants 1-2 years get pleasure from push or pull toys, blocks, and books. Toddlers to age 3 enjoy simple musical instruments, large crayons, and wagons. Preschoolers love to draw and play pretend. Lego’s and puppets are ideal for them. Children from 4 to 6 years-old enjoy board games and team sports. Meanwhile, children from 6 to 8 years-old love simple tool sets, roller skates, and simple cameras.

Oxygen is very essential to improve the condition and performance of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. Thus, aerobic exercises are introduced to improve the oxygen-carrying capacity of these body organs. These are workouts done for a longer period of time at a moderate intensity for the carbohydrates to turn into energy. The large muscles of the legs, chest, and back are the usual body parts involved.

Aerobic exercises are beneficial for health. However, for you to achieve the desired effects, you must perform these exercises for at least 20 minutes a day, three times a week. Swimming, running, jogging, and bicycling are some of the workouts that develop your cardiovascular system.

Reduction of risks from dying too early from cardiovascular diseases is one of the best health benefits of aerobic exercises. Because of oxygen, the heart is improving its pumping action in and out of the body system. Respiration is also strengthened. Thus, blood pressure is reduced to normal.

Aerobic exercises also help all the muscles in the body to become stronger. Jogging stimulates bone growth. The risk of getting diabetes is also reduced with aerobic exercises.
